Muskies on Main street of Kenora

Wood carvings of  at least 24 Muskies will be displayed outside around Kenora's City Hall, Memorial  Park and along Main street down to the harbourfront this summer.
This is a fundraising ART project by Lake of the Woods Arts Collective.
These are photos of my wood carving in progress. Measuring 45 inches/ 113 cm in length and 24 inches / 60 cm girth.
They will be on display until September and then be part of a silent ON-LINE auction.
 OPENING BID$ WILL BE STARTING AT $400.
The muskie artists will recieve 40 percent of the fundraising and Lake of the Woods Arts Community recieves 60 precent. My muskie painting on the carving will have a serene sunset Lake water reflection inspired by Lake pf the Woods inthe summer.

                                       Layers of white pine boards glued and stacked together.
Metal flange added to the bottom to connect with pipe for outdoor display.


Adding of wood fins , each one placed and glued in a slot.
